Music has always been an influential part of Myke Lowe’s life, from singing in choirs at an early age to solo performances as a budding singer to expanding his musical repertoire by learning to play the piano. As a member of these various choirs, Myke experienced the many opportunities and the excitement of performing in some of the top venues and cities throughout Europe. His career in music had an early start attending music school and practicing as an eager young pianist. During this period his deep feelings for singing as a way to express his feelings were to eventually consume his total interest. This realization gave way to performances at various events throughout the European Union where Myke could showcase his talents. American soul, gospel and swing music had a major influence on his musical repertoire from his many visits to the United States where he experienced first hand contact with the masters of this genre, specifically, Frank Sinatra, Nat King and Natalie Cole, Etta James, Whitney Houston, Luther Vandross and Barry White. His first album, entitled “FIRST” was co-produced with the assistance of Dutch producer Sasho Mase whose musical production resume lists Quincy Jones and Qwest Records among the many successful accomplishments he has undertaken. Myke utilizes the musical influences of soul and swing, so prominent in his early career, with a blend of dance and disco beats of the 1970’s presenting a unique vocal sound that encompasses both the technical seriousness and upbeat happiness of both musical eras. The diversity of his life experiences and personal drive for excellence is more than adequately exemplified by the educational degrees he holds in the fields of veterinary science and interior design. His ability to fluently speak five languages has provided him the opportunity to further promote his personal life motto - “It is never too late – every moment is a new chance to turn everything around”. To highlight his many performances, the following appearances stand out as a musical baseline of his vibrant career. • Solo performance - The Porgy & Bess Jazz Club - Vienna, Austria • Solo performance – Berlin Pride at SiegeSeule (Victory Column) – Berlin, Germany • U.S. Debut – the renowned 9:30 Club – Washington D.C. • Solo performance - Barcelona Pride • performances at various jazz clubs throughout Europe • various performaces in his home city Berlin Myke is very thankful and appreciative of his many fans and supporters that have provided him the “fuel” to further accomplish his musical dreams.
